Cheryl Walsh is an Irish actor and writer based between Cork and London, known for character work with comic timing and emotional range, 

Trained at the 16th Street Actors Studio in Melbourne in Stanislavsky, Meisner, Chekhov and Uta Hagen technique, she has worked across stage, screen, and commercials. Recent theatre credits include Eva Gore-Booth in A Name for Herself at the Renaissance Theatre in Melbourne. She currently appears as Mary in the  LONDIS campaign as well as for Level Health and Douglas Forest & Gardens

Alongside performing, Cheryl writes and produces her own material. Her plays Ready or Not and Inside were both produced at Cork Arts Theatre in 2025 and 2026. 

Healed, a work in progress, was performed at the Cork Midsummer Festival 2026 in conjunction with Cork Theatre Collective. 

A committee member of Cork Shakespearean Company, she successfully produced Shakespeare in the Gardens, a sold-out immersive theatre performance at Fota House & Arboretum,  July 2026.

Cheryl is also the founder of Go On So Studios, an acting studio, rehearsal space, self-taping and photography studio, based in Douglas, Cork.

She holds an honours B.A. in English and History of Art from University College Dublin and a postgraduate degree in Psychology with distinction from the University of Adelaide — which explains a lot about the work!
